My name is Miguel Angel Garrido and I have been a Bass fisherman from a boat for more than 25 years. He participated in great Black Bass Fishing championships from an International boat and my best result was a 3rd place in the Soner Nitro Euro Bass, 3rd Classic Bass in Portugal and 3rd in Classico de Oleiros in Portugal.
This will be my fourth Hobie Fishing World Championship, representing Spain. I still remember my first world championship at HFW6 in Louisiana USA in 2016.
I am a Lowrance International Ambassador, a member of the Molix International Pro Fishing Team and the Hobie Inter Pro Team. I hold the Spanish record for the largest sea bass since 2001 – 4.02kg.
I love to fish with my Pro Angler 14 and my Hobie Lynx looking for Black Bass. I love surface fishing. I have been competing for more than 35 years. I started my freshwater fishing adventure by Fly Fishing the Black Bass. I love Hobie and I love their products. Hobie kayaks are amazing and allow me to go fishing and get big catches.

My biggest Achievement was Winning the 2021 Italy Bass Nation qualifier for the 2022 Bass Master Classic Kayak Series in South Carolina. With a great position in the 18 of 97 competitive. For my first Classic, it was a great result and above all a great experience.
