Åmål (pronounced Or – More – L), is situated in Vastra Gotaland County in Sweden. The small, picturesque town has just under 10,000 local residents and nestles on the shores of Lake Vanern, the third largest lake in Europe. A compact and well-constructed harbour sits at the edge of the township and its narrow entrance leads out into the vast, open lake. The township has everything anglers require to have a safe and enjoyable time on and off the water during the 2018 world championship.
