Hobie Fishing World 9 presented by DAIWA – OFFICIAL WELCOME AND OPENING CEREMONY 42 of the world’s finest kayak anglers will descend on Åmål, Sweden to battle it out in three days of the most competitive kayak fishing ever seen for the coveted title of Daiwa – Hobie Fishing World Champion. Here’s the official welcome, blessing of the fleet and the mood before the first day of the AFTCO Practice Day 1 Morning and Opening Ceremony
The success of the event comes from the Amal City Council Team of Michael Karlsson (Mayor), Johan Trollnäs (CEO of Visit Dalsland – Head of Regional tourism), Jenny Christensen (business developer), Adam Staf (communicator), Kristoffer Ljung (Head of the Business and Communications unit), Helena Vretman (Stand-in head of the Municipality in Jan-Erik’s absence) and Björn Wennerström (Head of the Building and Planning unit), Sportfishing Dalsland – Andy van Assema, Hobie Kayaks Europe, the Hobie Company and the Hobie Janitor (Steve Fields).
