Host Hotel Check-In:
In partnership with the designated host hotel, special rates and early arrival options will be available to anglers upon successful entry into the event, the direct booking link will be provided. It is imperative that anglers stay in the official event accommodation as a number of official meetings will take place during the event.
For your convenience in attending this historic event, please review the recommended arrival dates, we recommend the following:
Anglers are encouraged to plan their arrival for Friday, June 21st or Saturday the 22nd. Although traveling to a new time zone can be exciting, adjusting to the time difference might require some adaptation. Depending on the distance traveled, it could be helpful to take certain steps to adjust to the new time zone and minimize the impact of jet lag, which could affect your overall experience upon arrival. Arriving early is prioritized for optimal recovery.
Additionally, arriving early provides an opportunity to acquaint yourself (and international teams) with local amenities such as shops, medical facilities, restaurants, and the event venue – distance from the hotel.
For baseball enthusiasts: If you’re a fan of baseball or have always desired to witness a live game, the Detroit Tigers baseball team plays just across the river, less than 30 minutes away from the host hotel!
Hotel Check-Out: Event Hotel

From the host hotel, Windsor Airport is 8.7 km (5.5 miles) away, Detroit is 29 km (18 miles) while Toronto Pearson International Airport is 342 km (212 miles) away.

As in previous Hobie Fishing World events, and for this one as well, we recommend that anglers or teams reserve a 6+ person minivan or consider sharing a rental car with other anglers.
