As a proud member of the Hunter Waters Sports team, Francis is thrilled to have qualified for his second Hobie Fishing Worlds. The support of James Fitzpatrick at Hunter Water Sports, and the camaraderie among the tournament team, have been fishing highlights over the years.
Fishing is a lifelong passion that started in childhood, however, the opportunity to fish competitively goes beyond this. It provides him with the opportunity to spend time with like-minded people from all walks of life and has allowed Francis to develop strong friendships with fellow competitors across Australia, and the world.
His travels to competitions within Australia and internationally have allowed for the exploration and discovery of waterways Francis otherwise may not have visited. Francis is thrilled to be making the trip to Canada for the Hobie Fishing World 10/11 and is looking forward to the challenge of a new species and waterway.
