Andy has been a keen, all-round angler from a very young age and only started kayak fishing in 2017. He won the UK Kayak Angler of the Year in 2021, which qualified him for this Hobie Worlds Competition. Andy fished three times for England, once in the FIPS-ed boat predatory world championship in the Czech Republic and twice in the FIPS-ed predatory Kayak world championships. One held in Sabor, Portugal, where they won a team gold, and in second in Cooksville, Tennessee winning a team bronze. Andy feels honoured to have been able to travel to several different countries trying different types of lure fishing which is what he loves doing best.
