Jonas is a young keen perch and bass fanatic with a strong affinity for finesse fishing. As he travels a lot for work, he has fished in many countries around the world despite his young age (most recently e.g., Saudi Arabia, Oman, Colombia). The South German discovered his love for kayak fishing early on which intensified during his master’s degree stay in the fishing paradise of Sweden. Through his connection to the local Swedish fishing scene, he found his way into competition fishing and was quickly able to finish several competitions in the top 3 including the win of the Kayakstoretour Stockholm Event in 2021. The victory at the Hobie Fishing European Championship 2022 in Italy was the highlight of very intensive fishing years, which he now wants to build on.
