Nate Conley is a passionate angler who got hooked on fishing after purchasing a cottage several years ago on a small low land reservoir known for it’s smallmouth, walleye, crappie, and pike..
Today, Nate is an accomplished kayak angler with a love for tournament fishing. Nate has competed at the highest level of the sport which includes winning a US national series event, qualifying for the Hobie BOS Championship, and bringing home a silver metal in the FIPSed Kayak World Championships.
Nate loves to fish in the Southeastern US where he’s caught some of his biggest fish but he has a special place in his heart for the clear blue waters of Lake St Clair and the Great Lakes of Ontario, Canada.
Nate is an advocate for fishery conservation and wishes all boat tournaments would adopt the CPR (Catch, Photo, Release) method or similar. He’s also passionate about introducing others to the sport, whether it’s taking friends out on the water or sharing his experience on social media.
For Nate, kayak fishing is more than just a hobby – it’s a way of life. He looks forward to many more years of exploring new bodies of water, and honing his skills while sharing the sport with others. Tight lines.
